Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Network Engineer to join a high-impact infrastructure engagement. We’re looking for a command-line junkie with strong opinions on BGP vs OSPF, who’s lived through data center refreshes, and can troubleshoot asymmetric routing without breaking a sweat. If your idea of downtime is labbing up ISE policies or tuning RF profiles, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:

Owning and optimizing Cisco-driven routing, switching, and wireless across enterprise LAN/WAN environments
Running point on Palo Alto NGFW policy builds, VPN tunnels, threat profiles, and log analysis
Standing up and tuning Cisco ISE for 802.1X, device profiling, and dynamic policy enforcement
Producing full-stack diagrams, logical/physical maps, and DR-ready network documentation
Participating in core network ops, after-hours rotation, and periodic onsite sessions with the infrastructure team

Desired Qualifications:

10+ years of hands-on experience in complex network engineering roles
5+ years actively configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls in production
Fluent in Cisco IOS/NX-OS with deep understanding of STP, EIGRP, BGP, and multicast
Proven experience designing and managing Cisco ISE policies and integrations
Data center experience with Cisco UCS, Nexus, VMware, and fabric interconnects

Compensation/Benefits:

Compensation: $150,000-165,000
PTO: 3 weeks, 11 paid holidays

100% Remote
