Sr. Network DeveloperThe Sr. Network Developer will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying network hardware platforms, with a focus on engagement with switch, router, and optical manufacturers.

This position requires a deep understanding of hardware specifications and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external customers to define design requirements. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the development of network hardware platforms that meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Design, develop, and deploy network hardware platforms, including switches, routers, and optical systemsEngage with switch, router, and optical manufacturers to define hardware specifications and ensure compliance with our design requirements.Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to define design requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.Work with external customers to understand their needs and define design requirements that meet their expectations.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, external customers, and manufacturers.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in network hardware platform engineering.Participate in the development of roadmaps and technical plans for network hardware platforms.Ensure that all network hardware platforms are designed and developed with scalability, reliability, and security in mind.Job Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.3-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network hardware platform engineering.Strong understanding of hardware specifications and design requirements.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with both internal teams and external customers.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.Experience with switch, router, and optical manufacturers, including engagement with these companies to define hardware specifications.Strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in network hardware platform engineering.Preferred Job Qualifications:Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on network hardware platform engineering.Experience with cloud-based network architectures and virtualization technologies, software defined networkingStrong understanding of security and compliance requirements for network hardware platforms.Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems.Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.Required SkillsHardware Software ConfigurationsNetwork EngineeringNetwork Operating SystemNetwork ProcurementAbout UsOnly Oracle brings together the data, infrastructure, applications, and expertise to power everything from industry innovations to life-saving care.
