The requirement is short-term/temporary staff augmentation position ranging from 6-7 months. The ADE SIS Programmer will serve as on-site senior-level programmer/developer to maintain, support and enhance the Arkansas Department of Education's (ADE) Statewide Information System (SIS) web application and processes that are accessed and initiated from the web site, to include programming and databases changes. The position will be responsible for full maintenance and enhancement on pages for the ADESIS web site including addition of new features to pages and, correction of deficiencies on pages.
Maintenance of programming code for processes is one of the core requirements of this position along with addition of new programming code to implement new requirements. The job duties would include maintenance of database table structures; data records and code deployment to UAT, QA and Production environments along with addition of needed new data tables and/or elements as required per school year. Data Analysis and Reporting as requested to detect cause of errors.
