Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for participating in day to day clinical care of patients
  • Performs patient intake process (vital signs, history, medication review)
  • Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies
  • Performs clinical procedures (injections, ear lavage, POC testing)
  • Assists the providers with minor procedures
  • Submits electronic referrals for additional services
  • Enrolls / responds to electronic patient messages in the patient portal program
  • Schedule appointments when required
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • Ordering and overseeing of supplies
  • Ensuring quality controls of clinic

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from a Medical Assistant program / school or relevant experience
  • Current CPR card for Healthcare Professionals (AHA BLS) or willing to obtain within 30 days
  • 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant
  • 2+ years of clinical experience
  • EMR experience
  • Experience in working with HMO, PPO, Medicare

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18.00 to $32.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
