Senior Manager, Vision Care Strategy
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Summary of Position
Alcon is looking to hire a Senior Manager, Vision Care Strategy to join our Global Strategy and Operations Team in Fort Worth, TX. You will be responsible for supporting Global Vision Care Franchise with key strategic projects, developing recommendations with a data-driven approach and providing guidance to the organization around decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads strategic projects, problem‑solves with and counsels leaders and provides guidance to organization around problem structuring, action planning and recommendation synthesis
- Provides analytical insights into the annual planning process, taking into account competitor gap analysis, market predictions, financial plans, as well as pipeline information and current products lifecycle positions
- Partners with Global Product Directors to craft/refine product category strategies and to communicate strategic roadmaps to ELT/Board of Directors, facilitating alignment on key issues and opportunities
- Provides thought leadership to problem solve with Global Franchise team on strategic topics by developing insights on business growth opportunities, sales execution, and performance
- Supports development of new product ideation funnel with GB&I PMO leads
- Conducts opportunity assessments related to whitespace
- Develops and tracks key success metrics for Franchise
- Partners with analytics teams to define business requirements, crafting dashboards and using other techniques for surfacing the right data
Key Requirements / Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs;Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 7 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: 40 hours
- Travel Requirements: Up top 10% Domestic/Intl.

Preferred Requirements
- 2 - 3 years proven experience with one of the Big 3 consulting firms
