Senior Linux System Administrator / System EngineerAn active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required for this position.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly experienced Senior Linux System Administrator / System Engineer to support a high-visibility mission environment within the Intelligence Community. This role requires deep expertise in Linux system administration, virtualization, automation, and security compliance, along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, mission-critical setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems (RHEL/CentOS) in a secure enterprise environmentSupport mission-critical infrastructure with a focus on availability, performance, and securityCreate, configure, and manage VMware virtual machinesInstall, configure, and maintain JBoss application environmentsImplement automation solutions using Ansible, Terraform, or similar toolsPerform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisSupport security compliance initiatives and system hardening effortsCollaborate with cross-functional teams across storage, networking, and security domainsProvide support for 24x7 operations, including on-call and after-hours responseRequired Qualifications10+ years of experience as a Linux System Administrator/EngineerActive TS/SCI with Polygraph.Strong expertise with Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environmentsExperience with VMware VM creation, configuration, and operationsSecurity+ Certification (required)Experience supporting IC (Intelligence Community) mission environmentsHighly Desired QualificationsActive or recent SYS3 Privileged AccessExtensive experience with JBoss installation, configuration, and administrationHands-on experience with automation tools such as Ansible or TerraformStorage systems and administrationNetworking fundamentals and infrastructure supportSecurity compliance and auditingAuthentication systemsScripting with Shell and/or PythonPhysical server administrationExperience with Oracle Database and potential DBA exposureFamiliarity with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation)Salary Range for This Position: $151,000 - $170,000 #CJThe Red Arch Solutions pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
