Modernization effort starting in their Olive Branch, MS distribution center. This DC has PKMS As400 technology currently and they are upgrading to Manhattan WMOS.

Then, they have goals to bring modernization to the DC (automation is currently at about 2%, so there's a lot of work to do!). This is an exciting and large project for this candidate to be a part of and help drive significant change to the main distribution center.You will be part of the Product Management team responsible for delivering strategic solutions to drive value to our business partners. Our job is to ensure that we deliver quality IT initiatives that exceed the expectations of our customers and provide a return on our technology investment.

In this role, you will consult and work with the business stakeholders, project managers, architects, development teams, and others to gather and define, then develop and document client requirements as both functional specifications then translate them to technical requirements to ensure successful deployment of deliverables.Responsibilities:Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needsDevelops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications.Possesses broad knowledge of technical design specifications and works with technology peers to help develop solutionsNegotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business and IT from initial requirements to final implementationPossesses and may share subject-matter expertise or in-depth technical knowledge, uses expertise to further development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective waysMay provide tactical work direction to team membersExcellent knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodologyCustomer focused with high quality standards, must possess strong presentation skillsPossesses solid knowledge of project management methodologyDemonstrates excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skillsWorks on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factorsExercises strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsNetworks with key contacts outside own area of expertiseStrong decision making capabilities will have an impact on the success of short-term group or division operational goalsFrequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group IC's/managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or internal customersMay interact with business leadership at all levelsMay lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team
