Responsibilities
- Work within a technically strong team to design and build new systems as well as support and enhance current systems
- Develop and maintain architecturally sound, modular, component-driven Java applications
- Create, maintain and organize system & design documentation, test plans, etc.
Qualifications
Experience required:- 8+ years Java J2EE with complex multi-layer applications
- Strong working knowledge of Swing and EJB
- Working knowledge on Spring/Hibernate
- Working knowledge of an appropriate UI framework (jQuery, AngularJS, etc) would be added advantage
- Strong working knowledge of SQL
- Excellent object-oriented design & programming skills, including working knowledge and experience in using UML and design patterns
- Experience with IDE’s such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, and tools such CVS/Maven, etc
- Very strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Solid foundation in trouble-shooting application and data issues
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and assess priority.
- Ability to fit into a team-orientated environment with a positive influence
- Ability to handle changes in business requirements and priorities across multiple projects.
