Job Description
* Maintain current applications, including, but not limited to, bug fixes, feature enhancements and performance tuning
* Troubleshoot and debug complex issues; identify and implement solutions
* Develop and enforce policy and procedural changes within the development group
* Develop coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines
* Lead code reviews
* Work closely with software architects and technical leads to ensure decisions meet long-term enterprise growth needs
* Develop and provide support for multiple applications
Qualifications
* Undergraduate degree in CS/CE/CIS/MIS/Engineering/Technology or related field or equivalent experience and or training
* 6+ years total development experience
* 4+ years object-oriented application experience
* Expert skills in Java web services and applications
* Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL
* Extensive knowledge of object oriented programming
* Ability to scrutinize applications and services to ensure they adhere to security standards.
* Networking knowledge (Sockets, TCP/IP, UDP)
* Experience with diagnostics tools (Tealeaf, Fiddler, IE Inspector, HTTP Analyzer) preferred
* Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) experience preferred
