What You’ll DoWork across the stack to from UI, microservices to databaseLeverage AWS to deliver efficient, cloud-native solutionsWrite unit, integration, and functional tests, and guide others in doing the sameDocument software designs and project tasksReview functional requirements and analyze their impact on schedule and software designProvide technical leadership, mentoring and direction to other team membersDesign and develop REST APIs and other code that is reliable, maintainable, and extendableParticipate in design/code reviewsTranslate business needs and requirements into technical specificationsWork with team members to improve development processes and practicesThe Skills and Experience You’ll BringBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience6+ years experience in software developmentModern object oriented languages such as Javascript, Typescript, or JavaPractical experience with Cloud-Native Development such as in AWS, Azure, or GooglePractical experience with containization such as Docker and KubernetesApplied experience with messaging / streaming such as Kinesis, Kafka, or ConfluentApplied Knowledge of Microservices established best practicesApplied Knowledge of REST APIs established best practicesPractical experience of Design Principles and PatternsPractical experience with OO and/or Functional ProgrammingApplied Knowledge with unit testingApplied Knowledge with Agile and at least one agile methodology such as SCRUM, KANBAN and XP
