Senior Java Developer
This contractor will be working on an Express Admin and Patient Portal. These applications link communication between professional services to the client and the client to the patients.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Design & implementation work (already have BA who is doing the requirements gathering)
- Work with existing team members to understand the Lync platform and how to add or expand services within it and develop API calls etc.
- UI & service integration & basic database work and using spring-boot dockerized containers
- Developing APIs for services and documenting and modeling systems from front to back-end and building it out etc.
- Mix of On-prem services & a few cloud ones
- NodeJS, AWS, etc.
Technologies/required experience for the position?
- JAVA (JAVA 8 for the on-prem and then JAVA 11 on cloud solutions)
- Spring-Boot
- WebSphere
- Docker
- AWS (ECS, EC2, etc.)
- JavaScript (Angular or NodeJS)
- Huge Plus: Terraform
Team Size & Structure: Will be working with BA & QA associates and then a team of 3-4 developers working on this functionality and integrating into the platform
Education or Certification Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar but flex if they’re experienced
Required Skills: STRONG Developers - At least 10 years experience - Java 8/11, Spring Boot, AWS, REST Services, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, JavaScript (Angular or Node.js) Terraform is a BIG PLUS Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes Drug Screen: Yes Notes: EST/CST time zone ONLY candidates.
