We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage, maintain, and modernize critical IT infrastructure in a hybrid environment. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Windows Server environments, planning cloud migrations, implementing robust security and patch management protocols, and ensuring mission-critical system availability and disaster recovery readiness.

Key Responsibilities
• Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Administer and optimize Windows Server environments across both on-premises data centers and public cloud infrastructure.
• System Maintenance & Security: Oversee OS upgrades, patch deployment, testing, and vulnerability remediation to maintain system security, stability, and compliance.
• Automated Deployment: Utilize PowerShell scripting and automated management tools (such as SCCM) for centralized task execution, patch distribution, and software deployment.
• Server Migrations: Plan and execute seamless workload and server migrations from legacy on-premises environments to cloud platforms.
• Operations & Recovery: Oversee backup operations, disaster recovery (DR) planning, and execution to guarantee minimal downtime and data loss in mission-critical environments.
• Application & Production Support: Provide tier-level server and infrastructure support, troubleshooting issues across environments supporting .NET, Java, SQL Server, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with application, database, and network teams to support infrastructure expansion, system integrations, and application deployments.

Qualifications & Key Requirements
• Hands-on Experience: Extensive experience in Windows Server administration within hybrid (cloud and on-premises) architectures.
• Scripting & Automation: Strong expertise with PowerShell and Windows server scripting for task automation.
• Patching & Vulnerability Management: Proven experience in automated patch management tools (SCCM) and server/application vulnerability remediation.
• Disaster Recovery & Backups: Direct experience managing enterprise backup systems and crafting comprehensive Disaster Recovery plans.
• Networking Proficiency: Solid understanding of network fundamentals, including OSI layers, protocols, and routing concepts.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for cross-functional partners and leadership.
• Location Eligibility: Candidates must physically reside within the United States for the full duration of the assignment.

Preferred Certifications
While not strictly required, the following active certifications are highly preferred:
• Microsoft: Azure Administrator Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
• Networking: CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent networking credentials.

Required / Desired Skills
• In-depth hands-on experience working with Windows Server in hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud). Required - 6 Years
• Demonstrated ability to translate user requests, provide technical support and communicate effectively in English orally and in writing Required - 6 Years

• In-depth experience working in an environment that utilizes multiple frameworks/technologies including .NET, Java, SQL/Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc. Required - 6 Years
• In-depth experience providing server-level support and troubleshooting issues for production applications. Required - 6 Years
• In-depth experience managing vulnerability server and application remediation. Required - 6 Years
• Experience with tools like SCCM for automated patch management & deployment. Required - 6 Years
• Experience crafting disaster recovery (DR) plans to ensure minimal downtime and prevent data loss. Required - 6 Years
• Strong networking knowledge - including understanding OSI layer functionality and network protocols. Required - 6 Years
