Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and integrate identity and access management frameworks, systems, and protocols.

The identity and access management engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of IAM systems including SSO, authentication, and access controls, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IAM systems and data. Overall, the IAM engineer role ensures that procured or developed IAM systems are implemented properly and function as intended.

  • Develop strategy for and design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions and systems
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management related issues
  • Improve identity and access management solutions and systems to protect against evolving threats and drive efficiency to improve customer experience and business processes
  • Coach other members of the organization on the best practices that should be followed in identity and access management
  • Manage IAM threats and work with Incident response team to mitigate security incidents
  • Work in conjunction with security governance to ensure appropriate access policies and processes are in place
  • Lead access management in providing evidence for security in responding to security audits and assessments as required
  • Manage IAM projects and all initiatives

Qualifications

  • 7+ Years designing, implementing, and maintaining an Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platform, such as Sailpoint, Saviynt, Okta, etc.
  • 7+ Years experience implementing and maintaining multi-factor authentication capabilities
  • 6+ Years experience with Azure Active Directory
  • 7+ Years experience working with numerous security capabilities (e.g., SIEM, PAM, IGA) and third parties
  • 7+ Years knowledge and experience in regulatory frameworks (NIST, HITRUST, HIPAA, PCI, SOC2)
  • 7+ Years experience in multiple security domains (governance, risk, compliance, operations, engineering, IAM, business continuity/disaster recovery, etc.)
  • 7+ Years experience in various technical roles in IT and security
