This position directly reports to the Electrical Supervisor and does not supervise others.ShiftThis is a day shift position. Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm.QualificationsEducation Background:Associates degree in a technical related field, or completion of an accredited trade school in (HVAC) heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems or equivalent training requiredEPA Clean Air Section 608 License preferred – Will be required to complete it if hired.NC Electrician License preferredNC Fire Sprinkler Maintenance Technician License preferredSpecial courses in electrical, pneumatic, facility monitoring/control and power plant systems are preferred.Knowledge & Experience:10 years of experience in an industrial environment maintaining and repairing HVAC systems requiredAbility to troubleshoot a wide range of AC/DC electrical systems requiredAbility to repair and/or replace electrical components that make up HVAC systems required.Must be able to work at heights up to 30 feet, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend and twist in order to reach remote equipmentMust be able to work overtime as neededFlexibility to carry a cell phone for coverage and site wide communication.
