Contribute to new product development, and work with and learn from accomplished and interesting engineers with a strong history of successful cardiac monitoring product development.The right person will have a strong curiosity about how things work, has a history of taking things apart, likes learning, and does embedded projects on their own. The main area of contribution will be improving upon and maintaining manufacturing of our current products.
Experience writing medical device requirements and documentation is a must, along with V&V for medical device products.What you'll be doing:Develop and maintain test systems and processes for new and current product manufacturing.SW development of test systems and production systems. (Python, RESTful API, Labview)Verify and Validate changes for current and new product designs (IQ, OQ, PQ).Create or update test system requirements by working with development and manufacturing teams.Drive continuous improvement of manufacturing and production systems.Update designs and Bill of Materials to enable seamless production output.Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.What you'll bring:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or other technical or science discipline.3+ years demonstrated success in designing or manufacturing products and bringing them to market.Strong oral and written communication skills.Intermediate knowledge of Python and statistics.Experience with hardware.An autonomous self-starter personality continuously looking to improve themselves and the systems around them.Familiarity with design and version control (Git Preferred).A culture of collaboration.We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $68,000 to $156,000, plus an annual incentive bonus. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position.
