Sr. Hadoop Test Automation EngineerAct as Sr. Systems Test Engineer for Product Acquisitions Big Data initiatives in addition to supporting Platform's testing automation strategy.The ideal candidate will have:Hadoop & PDW (Parallel Data Warehouse) testing (Please note: Hadoop & PDW programming experience is not required.)Experience with SSIS or other ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) toolsStrong experience with SQL and stored procedure testingExperience with UNIX and Windows platforms from a testing/development perspective.Responsibilities:Influencing test management, test design, and test strategyLeading testers on projects that include a wide variety of technologies supporting mobile, web and backend systemsWorking closely with Testing Transformation in adapting the new test methodology (i.e.
risk-based testing)Supporting developmental testing strategy for the Service/Web Presence organization; includes designing test harnesses, responders, and tools/utilities. (Please note: This requires experience with C#/.NET or similar (i.e. Java) programming.)Providing testing leadership in design reviews, code reviews, and test reviewsAnalyzing trends in data and make recommendations for improvementsDesigning and constructing complex software systems that assist testers with testing activitiesDue to the nature of the work, ideal candidates will have experience quickly adapting and assimilating to technologies and teams.
