In this role, you'll lead geotechnical projects from planning through delivery, serving as a trusted technical resource for clients and internal teams. The work includes project management, field and laboratory coordination, technical analysis, quality review, and clear reporting that helps infrastructure projects move forward safely and confidently.This is a strong fit for someone who brings deep geotechnical experience, sound engineering judgment, and a practical, people-first approach to project leadership. You should be comfortable working both in the field and in the office, balancing client needs, technical quality, mentoring, and business development.Core ResponsibilitiesApply fundamental geotechnical engineering principles to support project deliveryServe as a primary client contact, providing timely responses to client needsProvide project management and oversight, including QA/QC, analysis, and field servicesPerform and review geotechnical analysis, laboratory testing, and field observationsReview project invoices for accuracySupport engineering teams through coordination, technical guidance, and project executionYou'll thrive here if you haveBachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (P.E.) licenseSignificant prior experience (15 years) in geotechnical engineering (consulting preferred)Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clientsGood organizational skills, work ethic, and a positive attitudeAbility to work outdoors and in varying weather conditionsAbility to travel locally (approximately 50%) and use a personal vehicle for travelThe A-Team Experience is our employee program focused on helping our people thrive professionally, personally and as part of a community.
