Sr. Financial Analyst

Job TitleMaintains the variance reporting structure and enhancements as needed to achieve the needs of the organizationContributes to the maintenance of the Axiom product to use as the platform for the variance reporting imitativeEstablishes relationships and works with all levels of management to assist department owners to accurately respond to variances including researching and validating resultsMaintains high organization and communication skills to successfully respond to multiple inquires at the same timeUpdates and maintains the hierarchy specifications in order for reporting to be categorized properlyAssists in any special reporting requests based on current financial environmentDevelops and distributes standard expense analysis and reportingPrepares current year projections and Annual Budgeting for all labor and operating expenses and miscellaneous and other incomeAssists in the oversight of the SHC budget process using Axiom and working with each departmentPrepares Staff labor compensation and analysisPrepares all non-salary expenses and analysisConsolidates all reporting and analysis to SHC reporting requirementsUploads all budget data into Meditech and reconciles Meditech to all support schedulesWorks collaboratively with the Finance department to accurately represent department variancesMeets with departments to respond to inquiries on reporting requests and variance analysisRequirements:Education: BA or BS in Business Administration, Accounting or FinanceExperience: 2-4 years Budgeting/Forecasting for not-for-profit health systemSoftware/Hardware: Meditech, Excellent Microsoft Excel, database, spreadsheet and report creation and usageBudgeting/ForecastingKnowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, practices and proceduresExcellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Axiom, database, spreadsheet and report creation and usageAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may exist.Effectively communicate (oral and written) and ability to relate well to othersSelf-motivated, accurate and detail orientatedStrong organizational and planning skills
