Sr. Financial Analyst

We are looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a wholesale distribution organization in South Arlington, Texas and deliver high-impact financial insight that supports business performance. This role focuses on translating financial and operational data into meaningful analysis, strengthening planning activities, and improving reporting quality for leadership and cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to build practical tools that help the business make informed decisions.Responsibilities:• Lead financial planning support by developing budget, forecast, and variance analyses that highlight performance drivers and key changes in results.• Examine operating and financial data to uncover trends, business risks, and areas for improvement or growth.• Create and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs that give stakeholders clearer visibility into company performance.• Partner with internal teams and multiple data sources to assemble relevant information for reporting, planning, and decision support.• Reconcile and validate data across reports and analyses to maintain consistency, accuracy, and confidence in financial outputs.• Contribute to the enhancement of planning and reporting capabilities by helping design new analytical approaches and tools.• Advance efficiency initiatives through automation, standardized reporting practices, and stronger use of technology in financial processes.• Apply AI-enabled solutions and other automation tools to simplify workflows, improve productivity, and strengthen business insights.• Prepare concise, decision-ready analysis and presentation materials for leadership reviews, and document the assumptions and logic behind reporting outputs.• Respond to special analysis requests by gathering information, structuring findings, and delivering timely recommendations informed by business operations.South
