Harbinger: Familiar Form, Revolutionary Foundation.Role Summary:Harbinger Motors is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to lead budgeting and forecasting for the Bill of Material (BOM), Engineering NRE and Tooling. This position is a unique opportunity to lead strategic initiatives that are critical to achieving company goals for our current product line, while also working hand-in-hand with Engineering on our next generation of products. A successful candidate will be able to create visibility and highlight opportunities from the numbers, build strong relationships with technical leaders, and is self-motivated with a can-do attitude.Responsibilities:Become the BOM subject matter expert; analyzing changes and reporting variancesPrepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, providing clear and concise summaries of BOM costs and impactsLead strategic BOM initiatives.

Partnering closely with Engineering, from DRE's to the CTO, to understand financial tradeoffs for proposed design changesPartner with Engineering leaders with budgeting, forecasting and compiling targets for both BOM and investment for future programsPartner with the Technical Program Management team to understand changes in the BOM and analyze engineering change orders (ECO) by being on the Change Review Board (CRB)Coordinate with Supply Chain and Engineering to insure data integrity in the BOM is accurateContinuously improve BOM management processes and tools to increase accuracy and efficiencyAd hoc analysis as necessary to support leadership in the decision making process. Transforming data into actionable insights and recommendationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business with an emphasis in Finance.5+ years of relevant Finance experience.
