Job TitleSupervising and coordinating all shipboard requirementsManaging the performance of their crew of O&M Technician crew membersServing as the senior contractor onboard the ship supporting IOSC and the contractorStanding watch in the SURTASS Operations Center (SOC) onboard SURTASS vessels to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair SURTASS mission equipment to support Fleet requirements, including maintaining all required records and logs and monitoring and sending record Naval Message TrafficPerforming preventative and corrective maintenance on all SURTASS mission equipment in accordance with the PMS and other reference documents, as requiredUtilizing the WILD trouble ticket application to log all maintenance trouble tickets for action in the JSN/WKRQ log, which shall include all applicable labor, external technical assistance, parts, and time expendedMaintaining an accurate logistics inventory as provided by the Government, and provide periodic updates to the Product Support Facility (PSF)Operating the shipboard test equipment pool used with SURTASS mission equipment, including ensuring it is in calibration through early and frequent coordination with the PSFMaintaining a technical library on each ship to support all SURTASS mission equipmentSubmitting required reports in accordance with the SURTASS SOP, and other directivesJob RequirementsRequires an associate's degree in computer science, electronics technology, or be a graduate of US Navy electronics "C" school or equivalent civilian electronics technical school; Curriculum must have dealt directly with the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of: VME computers, digital computers, microprocessors or peripheral/interface equipment, networks, communications system, navigation system and/or sonar systemFive (5) years of experience managing personnelDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required within 12 monthsDesired SkillsFour (4) years of practical hands-on experience in the operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of secure networks and communications systems, navigations systems, and sonar systemsExperience with SURTASS mission systems is highly desiredClearance InformationSRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S.
