Bill Rate: $135/hr (Sr Analyst); $165/hr (Manager);

Tech Stack/Systems: Adaptive (required); Tableau, Excel

Job Summary

Our client in the retail/consumer hardware space is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst or Manager for a 3-month hybrid contract (maternity leave cover). You'll work closely with commercial and cross-functional teams - supporting GTM strategy, evaluating deals, and delivering financial insights that drive revenue and optimize costs.

Requirements

• Retail and Consumer Hardware Industry Experience (Required) -Must have hands-on experience with retail hardware P&L, including how products move through retail channels and how pricing, promotions, and inventory affect profitability.
• Proven track record supporting large retail accounts (e.g., Walmart, Target, Amazon, Best Buy, or similar)
• Experience of working closely with retail marketing teams
• Must be comfortable working with APAC teams and navigating time zone differences
• Adaptive Experience (Required)
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and product teams
• Forecasting & Planning- Strong experience building and maintaining revenue forecasts, budgets, and long-range financial plans.
• Deal & Pricing Analysis- Skilled at evaluating promotions, discounts, and retailer deals: including profitability assessment, supply constraints, and market timing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial leaders to support strategic financial decisions and drive business goals.
• Model the financial impact of deals, promotions, pricing strategies, and marketing investments.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning processes.
• Deliver weekly and quarterly performance reporting and analysis for senior leadership.
• Identify trends and anomalies in the business and translate them into actionable insights.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align on financial plans and strategic priorities.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and strategic projects as needed.

Experience & Attributes

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Experience in a retail sales-facing FP&A function required.
• Strong ability to make business decisions in ambiguous situations and proactively drive solutions.
• Comfortable working with large datasets across multiple systems.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence cross-functional partners.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Highly organized with strong time management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Adaptive and Advance Excel required with experience with Tableau
• Exposure to AI tools and data automation is a plus.
