Job Duties
nThe Enterprise Maintenance Excellence (EMEx) function at our company is part of the Operations Innovation (OI) Group and focuses on optimizing the full equipment lifecycle - from development through to decommissioning - through standardized work and engineering excellence.
nAs part of this, EMEx is deploying a global Computerized Asset Management System (CAMS) and standardized Work Management Process to enable consistent maintenance practices, improve data quality, and support data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
nWe are seeking a Senior Maintenance Work Management Engineer to support global CMMS deployment. This role will act as a senior maintenance process and system Subject Matter Expert (SME), working with sites to understand current maintenance practices, support adoption of the future-state model, and enable sustainable process and system adoption post go-live.
nA Day in the Life (Global CMMS Deployment)
nSupport Site Transitions:
n• Provide expertise to manufacturing sites transitioning from legacy CMMS systems to the Enterprise CAMS platform, supporting adoption of standardized maintenance work management processes.
nCurrent-State Discovery:
n• Engage with site teams to assess existing maintenance practices, including work identification, planning, scheduling, execution, and close-out, identifying gaps to the future-state model.
nFuture-State Enablement:
n• Support sites in understanding the global maintenance work management process, including changes to roles, responsibilities, and expected behaviors across maintenance teams.
nCMMS SME Support:
n• Confidently navigate and demonstrate the CMMS to support deployment activities, translating system functionality into practical, real-world maintenance use cases.
nStakeholder Engagement:
n• Work closely with maintenance, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to communicate what is changing, why it matters, and how to support successful adoption.
nData Migration Support:
n• Collaborate with global program teams and site stakeholders to support data migration activities, providing maintenance context for asset structures, maintenance plans, and master data.
nTraining Reinforcement:
n• Partner with system training teams to reinforce key concepts through practical examples, process walkthroughs, and on-site engagement.
nHypercare Support:
n• Support post-go-live activities, including issue triage, adoption coaching, and reinforcement of standardized processes and system usage.
nCross-Functional Collaboration:
n• Work closely with PMO, Change Management, Data Migration, QMS, Training, and IT teams to support successful deployment and resolve site-specific challenges.
nContinuous Improvement:
n• Identify opportunities to improve deployment approaches, strengthen adoption, and capture lessons learned for future deployment waves.
