Sr Epic Application Analyst – Epic BeakerThis is a Full-Time role in Chicago, Illinois / Remote. The reason this position exists is to support and enhance laboratory and blood bank systems in a complex healthcare environment, ensuring high-quality application performance, system integration, and regulatory compliance.What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience)Bachelor's degree (or Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience)5+ years of Epic application experienceEpic certification(s) (Beaker certification required)Strong experience with clinical systems analysis and healthcare ITExperience with laboratory systems and blood bank operations (2–3 years required)Familiarity with SoftBank blood bank system and third-party integrations (e.g., Telcor, Data Innovations)Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExperience facilitating discussions between business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendorsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and clinical audiencesAbility to troubleshoot complex, integrated system issuesWhat You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position)Lead and manage mid-to-large scale projects across multiple departmentsDesign, build, implement, maintain, and optimize Epic Beaker applicationsConduct workflow assessments and gather business requirementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams and end users to ensure effective system integrationPerform system builds, upgrades, and enhancementsSupport applications through all phases of implementation and post-go-live activitiesDeliver training, troubleshooting, maintenance, and ongoing supportConfigure vendor applications and manage third-party integrationsMaintain system documentation, specifications, and proceduresDevelop test plans, prepare test data, and execute system testingProvide on-site and on-call support as neededMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve system issuesAudit user data and ensure system accuracy and complianceApply project management and systems development methodologiesSupport regulatory compliance (CAP, AABB, FDA)Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $85K - $125K, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
