Sr. Engineering ManagerFarnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager in Phoenix, AZ or Salt Lake City, UT. In this role you will be responsible for managing the design, development, and implementation of process piping systems for various projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience in the semiconductor industry.What You'll Do:Manage the design and development of process piping systems for various projectsEnsure compliance with industry standards and regulationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project successProvide technical guidance and support to team membersDevelop and maintain project schedules and budgetsIdentify and mitigate project risksEnsure timely completion of projectsPerform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.What You'll Need:Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field required10+ years of engineering work experienceDesign experience of Process systems including ultrapure water, wastewater, specialty gas, specialty chemical and process mechanical systems such as process cooling water, compressed air and vacuum systems.Design experience of Mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, boilers, plumbing, and exhaust systems requiredExperience with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and Sequence of Operations (SOO)Semiconductor process knowledge working with wafer facilitiesProfessional Engineering License (PE), strongly preferredGeneral knowledge of Word, Excel, Acrobat and OutlookExperience with Revit and AutoCAD requiredAbility to work on several projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong organization, analytical and problem-solving skillsAble to work in a team environmentAttention to detailsEncourages and supports a safety-oriented culturePositive work ethicAbility to travelJoin Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, where your career can thrive!
