Remote Part Time General

Sr. Electro-Mechanical EngineerLockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control is seeking a Sr. ElectroMechanical Engineer to work in the Grand Prairie, TX facility.This Lower Tier IAMD PAC-3 Sustainment position will support Ground Support Equipment Depot Recapitalization and Repair activity and Ground System Equipment improvement development projects.The candidate will be responsible for the engineering disposition of mechanical defects.

The candidate will be responsible for releasing engineering drawings and specifications. The candidate will support field failure investigations and repair activity which may require travel to offsite locations.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related fieldMust be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearanceA minimum of 1 year of experience is required showing the demonstrated ability to identify and disposition electromechanical hardware defects, interpret engineering drawings, military specifications, and process requirements.A minimum of 1 year of experience determining the root cause of mechanical / electro-mechanical failures and implementing a corrective action is requiredDesired Skills:The following are highly desired skills:5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degreeEffective organization, communication, and teaming skillsExperience developing standard repair processesPro-E / CREO experience is highly desirableCircuit card assembly and sub-assembly manufacturing experience are highly desirablePATRIOT Air Defense System experience is desirableSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Clearance Level: SecretOther Important Information You Should KnowExpression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match.

The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
