Senior Electrical Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical systems, possess a Professional Engineering license, and have a proven track record of working on electrical systems within existing facilities. This position plays a crucial role in the design, maintenance, and improvement of electrical systems, ensuring they meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the design and development of electrical systems for existing facilities, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and other electrical infrastructure.
- Ensure that electrical designs and modifications comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Assess and diagnose electrical system issues within existing facilities, recommending and implementing solutions to improve performance, reliability, and safety.
- Manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and facility managers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other building components.
- Identify potential risks and hazards associated with electrical systems and implement mitigation measures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on existing facility projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Project management experience is a plus.
