Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:Eaton Corporation's Aerospace Mission System Division is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer, to join our team based out of Eaton's Davenport, Iowa facility - and relocation is provided!The Davenport facility has approximately 900 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace life support and safety systems components and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.This position is responsible for design and certification of electrical components part of Aerospace systems. The individual will be responsible for supporting and leading electrical/electronic activities for new product development including, analyzing requirements and assessing compliance, defining interfaces, reviewing component spec and de-rating, designing PCB/PWB, writing electronic test and qualification plans, supporting product design full life cycle management and providing technical expertise and guidance to team members and mentoring new engineers. Additionally, the individual will be responsible for supporting operation and field service teams with analysis and troubleshooting of legacy products as needed.Lead small to medium integrated product development teams and projectsDesign, analyze, and test mixed signal PCB's (Analog and Digital) for oxygen and nitrogen product lines.Interpret specifications and drawingsDevelop test protocols and write test reportsSupport in house and off-site electrical testing as neededInterface with customers as part of development programsWork with suppliers on component and sub-system developmentProvide innovative ideas for improvements to new and existing productsProvide technical expertise to support Manufacturing, Field Support Engineers, and customersSupport bids and proposals for new, modified, or upgraded productsMaintain an attitude supportive of continuous improvement, teamwork, cooperation, respect, and integrityQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.Minimum of 3 of years of professional experience with electrical hardware and electronic PCB design.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
