Job Summary

Senior Director of Food and Nutrition – Canton, GA. Lead a high‑performing team that oversees a dynamic healthcare dining operation. The role requires driving financial performance, developing talent, and serving as the face of Morrison Healthcare within the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the day‑to‑day foodservice operation with a focus on hospitality, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Manage financial performance by operating within budget while maximizing value for the client.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing leadership team and frontline associates.
  • Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build strong partnerships with hospital leadership and collaborate across departments.
  • Drive employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture focused on service excellence, innovation, and professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in foodservice, hospitality, or healthcare.
  • Experience managing foodservice operations, including purchasing, inventory, labor, and cost controls.
  • Strong knowledge of food quality, production, sanitation, catering, and presentation.
  • Experience managing budgets and P&L performance; contract‑managed service experience is a plus.
  • ServSafe® Certification preferred.
  • A proactive, forward‑thinking leader with outstanding communication and relationship‑building skills.
