As we embark on our digital transformation journey with the implementation of a new enterprise-wide Digital Asset Management system, we're seeking a talented Senior Digital Asset Management Librarian to join our team.As our DAM Librarian, you'll manage a vast library of hundreds of thousands of assets including:High-resolution product and event photographyDesign files (source files and final artwork)Marketing collateral and campaign materialsVideo content and motion graphicsWeb-optimized assets and graphicsWritten content and documentationBrand guidelines and style guidesYou'll ensure seamless access to this extensive collection across global markets, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the foundation of our digital asset strategy while enabling efficient collaboration between our creative teams, marketing departments, and international offices.A Day in the LifeFacilitate the adoption of our new enterprise DAM system, working closely with stakeholders to establish best practices and workflowsAdminister DAM user licensing by managing user roles, permissions, and access controls across global teamsMaintain an intuitive taxonomy system and metadata schemas that accommodates our diverse brand portfolio and multi-market needsLead asset migrations, bulk uploads, and metadata normalization initiativesOrganize digital assets across all file types and formatsTrain and support global teams across different time zones on DAM system usage and best practicesCollaborate with our creative teams to ensure all new assets are properly tagged, categorized, stored, and made accessibleMonitor asset usage rights and expiration dates across our global marketsGenerate insights on asset utilization and user behavior to optimize our digital asset strategySpearhead the relationship with our DAM vendor to address technical issues, updates, and feature requestsEvaluate and implement system upgrades, new features, and performance optimizationsCollaborate with IT and marketing technology teams to integrate the DAM with project management systems via APIs and connectorsEnforce processes for asset updates and version control to prevent outdated or duplicate usagePeriodically audit assets to confirm relevance, compliance, and branding accuracyEssential QualificationsBachelor's degree in library science, information science, or related fieldExperience in digital asset management or similar roleExperience in taxonomy development and metadata managementFamiliarity with creative operations, marketing, or publication managementStrong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systemsExcellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple prioritiesExceptional organizational skills with a methodical approach to file architecture and demonstrated ability to design and maintain complex hierarchical systems with meticulous attention to detailOutstanding communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Aprimo DAM or similar enterprise DAM platformsKnowledge of wellness, health, or consumer packaged goods industryExperience working with global teamsExperience with e-commerce platforms and content management systemsUnderstanding of digital rights management, licensing, and compliance considerationsFamiliarity with APIs and system integrations (e.g., REST APIs, CMS/PIM integrations)Why MelaleucaBe part of a pioneering initiative to transform our digital asset managementWork with a diverse portfolio of wellness and consumer brandsCollaborate with global teams and shape international digital standardsCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits packageOpportunity to grow with a leader in the wellness industryLocationThis is an on-site position based at our global headquarters in Idaho Falls, ID.
