Job TitleLiveRamp's Authentication and Access (AAA) team builds critical, high-performance services and tools to solve authentication and authorization problems for LiveRamp's engineering teams and our customers.You will be joining a vertically-integrated team who embraces a DevOps mindset, with complete ownership over our entire tech stack. Our primary backend programming language is Go and the majority of our portfolio consists of modern, greenfield projects which we've been creating over the last 1-5 years.You will:Be a key contributor to critical, highly-available, low-latency systems which power authentication and authorization for all of LiveRampLead cross-team engineering projects through the entire software development lifecycleBrainstorm and prototype complex software design problemsPerform thorough code reviews and design reviews for other engineers on the teamArchitect solutions for integrating our authN/authZ systems throughout LiveRamp's stackFigure out ways to replace legacy authorization systems with our modern solutionsPartner with our User Experience team to deliver best in class experiences to our customersCollaborate with the entire engineering organization to realize our security visionCraft high-quality technical documentationParticipate in our on-call rotation to occasionally triage incidents or provide emergency support when rarely necessary. The AAA team invests heavily in quality and reliability which helps protect work-life balance.Empower LiveRamp's engineers to implement authentication and authorization securelyEmpower LiveRamp's customers to adopt security best-practicesAbout you:4+ years experience in software developmentPassionate about the security and quality of the software you writeSignificant experience in designing, building, and maintaining backend web servicesSignificant experience leading the entire development lifecycle of software products, including planning, design, coding, deployment, rollout, monitoring, and maintenance of services supporting these productsComfortable working with a distributed, global teamExperience working with UX and Product teamsSignificant experience with at least one system programming language (Go, Rust, Java, C++...)Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline.Preferred Skills (bonus points):Experience developing highly-available low-latency softwareExperience working on systems where security is criticalExperience with GoExperience with Docker and KubernetesExperience with Google Cloud PlatformExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)Experience as a team's technical leaderThe approximate annual base compensation range is $130,000 to $196,500.
