Transformation Team Sr Data EngineerOur Transformation team is on a mission to improve business outcomes and employee experiences by driving step-change improvements in critical enterprise capabilities, including the processes, technology and analytics supporting these.As a Sr Data Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing AI, process automation, data solutions, and app development on the Celonis and other platforms. This will require you to understand business needs in various domains, define ground breaking solutions that meet the needs, and work collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team to deliver the solutions. Success will require close collaboration with stakeholders across multiple functions, and the ability to influence changes in a global organization. This position is ideally suited for an individual who is comfortable in a dynamic environment, with experience in conceptual and analytical problem solving.ResponsibilitiesWork with team members to understand business requirementsCollaborate with process analysts, data scientists, and domain experts to ensure alignment on business objectives and technical requirementsBuild and customize data models, apps, automations, etc.

on the Celonis platform to deploy AI agents, process orchestrations, process improvements, and analytics solutionsDesign, develop, and implement data pipelines within the Celonis internal and other data sources (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Databricks)Develop and implement data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrityIntegrate Celonis apps with other enterprise tools, ensuring smooth data flow and system interoperabilityBuild automated workflows to integrate (with) other enterprise systems and applicationsOptimize and maintain large-scale data processing systems for performance, scalability, and reliabilityProvide ongoing support for Celonis applications and data pipelines, solving issues and ensuring high system uptimeDocument technical specifications, solutions, and processes for future referenceQualifications6+ years dynamic experience in data engineering, data science, software development, analytics or similar rolesValidated experience working with the Celonis platform or equivalent platforms, including data engineering, process mining, app development, and automationTrack record of optimally completing projects across people, process, data, and technology in complex, global organizationsStrong proficiency in data engineering and software development; Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQLSolid understanding of data modelling, warehousing, and governance practicesFamiliarity with common enterprise systems (SAP, CRM, HRM, etc.) and integrating data from such systems into the Celonis platformHands-on experience with process automation and orchestration tools a plusFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and distributed data systemsAbility to optimally translate business problems into implementable solutions with quantifiable business benefitsResults oriented mentality, operates with high sense of urgency. Proven track record of solving problems, breaking down barriers and delivering results ahead of scheduleStrong written and verbal communicationKnowledge of business process modelling and process mining solutions a plusExperience working on an Agile / Scrum team a plusProduct Owner and/or Scrum Master certifications a plusBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related subject area.
