Sr. Data ArchitectUnder limited supervision, analyze complex data processing problems, and plan and design advanced computer applications; responsible for full SDLC; gather business requirements for database and application updates and changes; develop, validate and communicate OLTP and OLAP relational data modeling solutions; design and publish data models to view metadata information about tables and lineage between the data elements; create conceptual, logical and physical data models; implement metadata strategy and build metadata repository; maintain business rules, data dictionaries, data transformation rules; generate DDL scripts and provide them to the database administrators to implement on the database server; coordinate development of data warehouse, database, ODS and data marts; create templates, domains and naming standards for designing the data models; manage model mart efficiently to keep all versions of models up to date; provide required documents and generate business reports for ETL team; coordinate data cleansing and profiling; implement forward/reverse engineering techniques, and use database normalization; define and implement best practices for data retention, archival and purging; coordinate with ILG for newly created databases and tables, and classify them for internal purge and data archival process; create metadata repository of data elements in the data warehouse and data marts; mentor and assist less experienced team members; and use SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, Apache, Hadoop, Hive, HDFS, OLTP, OLAP, Toad, Erwin, Microsoft Azure, SSMS, SSIS, Power BI, Python and related tools.Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer, Electronic, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).Experience: Five (5) years of progressive experience as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst, Computer Programmer or in a related occupation.Other Requirements: Experience must include five (5) years of work with SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop, HDFS and Erwin; must be willing to relocate.Job Order No: .***This position is eligible for a referral bonus through our employee referral program***
