Sr. Cost Control AnalystSupermicro Computer Inc. is seeking an experienced Cost Control Analyst to provide accurate pricing for new and existing products by working closely with internal teams.
The Cost Control Analyst will work with the sales team to closely achieve best pricing to close the deal. This position will be part of our operations team based out of our headquarter office located in San Jose, CA.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Manage workload for multiple departments across function baseForecasts, controls, and reports project costs needed within an organizationDevelops and provides project variances, trending and analysis of expenditures, and completion reportsProvide forecasting guidance and projects for assigned projectsPerform Overhead, Contract Administration and Budget Management processes including monthly preparation and presentationAssist customer with cost versus capital decision makingPrepares or reviews complex standard cost for Motherboard, Chassis, server system product and continue to drive efficiency improvement and cost reduction planOversees the development of product cost for various component, systems and modules as well as coordinate interior resource to generate automatic standard cost system and databaseQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field with Master's degree is preferredMinimum of 8 years of experience in pricing, product costing, BOM costing, or cost analysisMinimum of 2 years of experience in Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain, or related functions. Exposure to supplier sourcing processes is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as time management and prioritization abilitiesExperience with coordinating with Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Logistics to optimize business model, cost structure, and pricingPC or server hardware experience and knowledge is a plus.
Familiarity with PCB/PCBA cost structures, component costing, or manufacturing processes is also a plusAbility to multi-task and cross function between administrative, operations and sales/client contractSalary Range $115,000 - $148,000. The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
