Job Summary

We are seeking a Consultative Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling, as well as excellent communication and consulting skills. The Consultative Data Scientist will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, and will provide expert guidance on how to leverage data to make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with clients to understand their business objectives and data‑related challenges
• Develop and implement custom data analysis solutions, including statistical models and machine learning algorithms, to solve complex business problems
• Provide expert guidance and advice on data‑related issues to clients, including data management, analysis, visualization, and interpretation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure that data analysis solutions are aligned with client needs and business objectives
• Communicate complex data analysis concepts and results to non‑technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
• Continuously stay up‑to‑date with the latest trends and developments in data analysis and related technologies
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to help clients build their data analysis skills and capabilities
• Support business development activities by identifying new opportunities and preparing proposals and presentations for prospective clients

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and/or machine learning
• Strong consulting and client‑facing skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with clients and understand their business needs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex data analysis concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative data analysis solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI. Experience with Sigma Computing is a plus.
• Experience working in a consulting or client‑facing role is strongly preferred
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
