We are looking for a Sr. Computer Network Architect in San Diego, California.Designs and governs the architecture for FRCSW networks, including LAN/WAN, enclaves, and secure data transport pathways.
Performs modeling, capacity planning, and risk assessments. Leads upgrades, segmentation efforts, cybersecurity posture improvements, and integration of new hardware/software. Establishes enterprise network policies, oversees issue resolution, and provides senior technical direction across network operations.Responsibilities:Design LAN/WAN and cloud network architectures.Conduct capacity analysis and performance optimization.Implement cybersecurity controls and compliance documentation.Support ATO and RMF accreditation efforts.Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend network enhancements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.10+ years of network design and administration experience.Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent preferred.Must possess an active Secret Clearance - Required
