Veterans and military spouses are encouraged to apply.This position is contingent upon contract award.RequirementsPlan, direct, and coordinate IT systems support activities across an enterprise-scale software application environment supporting government operationsAnalyze IT requirements, budget, personnel resources, and schedules; track program/project status and ensure milestones are metProvide strategic planning for future IT initiatives including modernization to cloud-based environments (AWS GovCloud, Azure)Participate in IT Service Management Office (ITSMO) meetings, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) reviews, and technical and operational process discussionsPrepare and present Project Status Reviews (PSRs); develop draft project cost estimates and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimatesResearch and evaluate GOTS, COTS, and proprietary software packages; assess emerging software languages, tools, and methodologiesProvide subject matter expertise on highly complex IT issues to managers, developers, and systems analystsEnsure contractor personnel maintain proper IT Level designation, security clearances, and CSWF training in accordance with DoD and Navy policyQualificationsAll qualifications are required unless specifically marked as preferred.Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or Master's Degree (MA/MS) in a technical, engineering, or scientific discipline or related fieldMore than 10 years of experience performing work related to the labor category functional descriptionWorks on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of the program; performs all functional duties independently; may oversee less senior staffEducation Substitution (non-degree options): Six (6) years of additional work experience related to the labor category functional description may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree; alternatively, an Associate's Degree plus four (4) years of additional work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.
