Senior Commercial Loan Servicing SpecialistThe Senior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist provides advanced operational support for complex commercial and foreign currency loan portfolios, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service throughout the loan lifecycle. This role serves as a subject matter expert, escalation point, and mentor within Commercial Loan Servicing, partnering closely with internal stakeholders to improve processes, mitigate risk, and support business growth. Training will be provided for candidates with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage time-sensitive, detail-oriented work.Responsibilities:Administer and service complex commercial loan portfolios, including payments, payoffs, advances, and disbursements with a high degree of accuracyLead the servicing of foreign currency loan transactions, including coordination of rate resets, funding, settlements, and cross-border instructions with internal partners and external banks as neededReview, and process domestic and international wire transfers and internal fund movements in accordance with policy and regulatory requirementsAct as a senior escalation point for complex servicing issues, providing expertise and guidance to junior team membersFacilitate loan modifications, term changes, escrow disbursements, and other servicing updates, ensuring all activity is properly documented, approved, and executedPartner with cross-functional teams to identify, propose, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalabilityPerform daily and monthly general ledger clearing and reconciliation activities, researching and resolving discrepancies as neededEnsure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and confidentiality requirements related to customer and loan dataMaintain or exceed established service-level expectations while delivering consistent, professional internal and external customer supportQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred3+ years of experience in commercial loan servicing, loan operations, or commercial lending support, with demonstrated exposure to complex loan structuresPrior experience with foreign currency loan servicing, cross-border settlements, or FX-related transactions strongly preferredKnowledge of Loan IQ, WSO, Syndicated loan operations, and Salesforce/nCino is highly valuableStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, reconciliation, analysis)Strong understanding of commercial loan documentation, servicing workflows, and operational controlsProven ability to analyze issues, exercise sound judgment, and resolve complex servicing challengesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teamsHigh attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAxos Employee Benefits May Include:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life InsurancePaid Sick Leave, 3 weeks' Vacation, and Holidays (about 11 a year)HSA or FSA account and other voluntary benefits401(k) Retirement Saving Plan with Employer Match Program and 529 Savings PlanEmployee Mortgage Loan Program and free access to an Axos Bank Account with Self-Directed TradingBorn digital-first, Axos delivers financial tools and services that allow individuals, small businesses, and companies to access and manage their money how, when, and where they want.
