The inspector receives infrequent instruction and direction from his superior and the work of the inspector is checked on a periodic basis by the Chief Inspector or delegate.
The Sr. Coating Inspector takes a leadership role in the inspection of his craft a mentor to other inspectors.Duties may include but are not limited to:Understanding, monitoring, assessing, and reporting on painting and coating activitiesProduct data sheet (PDS) utilizationBeing able to understand and interpret the PDSEnsure proper storage of the Paints/Coatings by the ContractorTools required to monitor environmental conditions and their proper useSurface cleanliness testingProper mixing of paint and/or coating per the manufacturers PDSProper application of paint and/or coatingProper equipment for the type of coatingProper repair of a holiday, void, or jeep in the coatingRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of experience in the application or inspection of coatingAPI 1169 & API 653NACE CIP level 2OSHA 10 or OSHA 30C & L Inspection offers a full slate of Inspection, Construction Management and Engineering personnel to the Petroleum, Natural Gas and Telecom Industries.
