Sr CNC Programmer

Sr CNC ProgrammerOverall Purpose: The Sr. CNC Programmer is responsible to write and prove new and existing programs to ensure dimensionally correct machined components. They will need to interpret both drawings as well as 3d models to produce machine instruction and tool selection to ensure both machine efficiency and accuracy.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Program CNC Machines utilizing Mastercam for both Mills and LathesReview incoming job orders and prepare programs per revisionThe ability to work with machinists to produce efficient and accurate programs with existing equipmentPerform file maintenancePerform First Article Inspection, including molds and segment inspection as requiredEnter SPC jobs into the computerCollect SPC data on the computerSend and retrieve programs from the main computerComplete daily paperworkAbility to set-up mills and lathesPerform complete inspection of partsRead blue printsCrosstrain in other areas as neededClean work areasFollow both verbal and written instructionsAdhere to 5S StandardsAdhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safetyPosition Requirements: Qualification Requirements:High School education or equivalentMust possess basic computer skillsMinimum 10 years of CNC programming experienceMust be capable of programming using Master Cam Mill / Okuma LatheMust be familiar with Okuma lathes, HAAS milling machines and Daewoo/Fanuc ControlAbility to program 5th axis MillingStrong understanding of GD&TMust be capable of performing duties and responsibilities with minimum supervisionAble to read and understand blue printsKnowledge of basic measuring tools, calipers, micrometers, comparators and math requiredFluent in English (able to read, speak, write and understand)Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident)Physical Demands: While performing duties of the job, the employee is required to: Regularly stand, walk, and reach with both hands and arms. Perform repetitive motions.

Regularly lift 15+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment: Machine Shop environment with moderate to high noise level. Must be US Persons based on ITAR definition (US Citizen or Permanent Resident).This position is expected to be exposed to information which is subject to US export control regulations, i.e.
