Senior CNC ProgrammerThis manufacturer produces precision die-cast components for aerospace and defense programs, where tight tolerances and dependable quality matter a great deal. As the Senior CNC Programmer, you'll decide how complex parts are machined, from the first toolpath to the final inspection. This is a permanent, full-time role with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits and an early 1st shift schedule.ResponsibilitiesProgram CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines from 3D models and drawings using Mastercam, Siemens NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.Plan machining strategies, tooling, fixtures, and speeds and feeds for complex aerospace die-cast parts.Prove out new programs with test runs and setups, then measure finished parts to confirm they meet tolerance.Work with engineering, quality, and machinists to solve manufacturing problems and meet aerospace quality standards.Keep program revisions, process sheets, and work instructions up to date, and recommend changes that shorten cycle times and lower costs.QualificationsRequiredHigh school diploma and 8+ years of experience in CNC programming or manufacturing engineeringHands-on experience with CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, Siemens NX, CATIA), G-code and M-code, and CNC milling, turning, and multi-axis machinesAble to read complex technical drawings and blueprints, lift up to 25 lbs, and stand for long periodsPreferredExperience in the aerospace die casting industryFamiliarity with aerospace materials, tolerances, and inspection methodsWorking knowledge of AS9100 and FAA regulationsCNC programming or machining certification (NIMS, FANUC, or similar)BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision401(k)
