Sr. Client Service Consultant – Property Casualty team, Madison, WI. This role provides a forward‑thinking, client‑centric environment focused on delivering complex insurance solutions and building lasting relationships with key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership and lead the largest and most complex accounts, supporting both Client Service Specialist and Consultant roles as needed.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service and act as an effective partner with clients.
- Market renewal policies and negotiate with insurance company underwriters.
- Review existing insurance, assess future client needs, and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Maintain awareness of complex or significant claims; assist in claims process management and resolve client claim issues satisfactorily.
- Investigate or identify resources to resolve complex insurance issues, ensuring client and sales team satisfaction.
- Maintain visibility with clients, fostering lasting relationships through professional expertise and a deep understanding of their business needs.
- Participate in team pre‑renewal meetings for assigned accounts and develop client opportunities.
- Prepare renewal reviews and applications, order renewals, and complete required documentation.
- Manage complex insurance plans such as loss‑sensitive risk funding, loss development, and loss forecasting.
- Ensure account accuracy by maintaining up‑to‑date online customer information, exposure schedules, policy formats, endorsements, premiums, and invoicing.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma (college degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in customer service, underwriting, or risk management within the insurance industry.
- Licensing: Active state‑specific Property & Casualty insurance agent’s license required or ability to acquire within three months of hire.
- Technical Competencies: Apply insurance principles to consult with clients, contribute to workflows and processes, use agency systems to deliver a world‑class client experience, ensure compliance, prioritize tasks, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
