Job Summary:
Seeking a Senior Cerner Clinical Analyst to support and optimize the Cerner PowerChart/iView environment, with particular emphasis on iView (Interactive View) and PowerForms. This role is intended for a tenured Cerner resource with deep, hands-on clinical application experience and a strong understanding of clinical/nursing documentation workflows. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for build, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of PowerChart-based clinical documentation tools, working closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure documentation workflows are efficient, accurate, and aligned with clinical practice.
Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level analyst support for the Cerner PowerChart environment, with a primary focus on iView and PowerForms
- Build, configure, and maintain iView bands, sections, and clinical documentation flowsheets
- Build, configure, and maintain PowerForms supporting clinical and nursing documentation needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PowerChart, iView, and PowerForms configuration and functionality
- Partner with nursing and clinical stakeholders to gather documentation requirements and translate them into system build
- Evaluate existing clinical documentation workflows and recommend optimization opportunities
- Support testing, validation, and change management for documentation-related build changes
- Document build standards, configuration decisions, and workflow specifications for long-term maintainability
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced analysts as needed, given senior-level expectations
- Stay current on Cerner PowerChart functionality and clinical documentation best practices
Qualifications:
- Senior-level Cerner clinical applications experience in a health system setting
- Extensive overall Cerner PowerChart experience
- Significant hands-on iView/Interactive View build and configuration experience
- Strong PowerForms build and configuration experience
- Strong understanding of clinical/nursing documentation workflows
- Demonstrated Cerner application build, configuration, and troubleshooting experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to support clinical stakeholder engagement
