Sr Business Analyst with BI/Analytics and Retail/Marketing Experience

Sr Business System AnalystOur client is seeking a Sr Business System Analyst will work with internal and external customers in gathering and writing functional requirements documents, understanding application architecture, and ensuring requirement comprehension by the engineering team. Candidate should have an understanding of Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies and knowledge of Business Intelligence platforms.Job Duties:Write strong and thorough development ticket requirements.Understand what success looks like if development is completed properly and define that exactly in the ticket acceptance criteria.Include thorough reproduction steps for bug or defect tickets.Quickly answer or clarify any questions from the engineering team.Understand the project and its primary users and how certain changes or enhancements would enhance or detract from user abilities and experience.Job Requirements:6+ years of IT BA experience4+ years of experience in the BI/Analytics space2+ years of Retail experienceStrong experiences on scrum teamsExperiences presenting and collaborating to senior level executivesSelf-directed and driven; requiring little direction and owning their lane and deliverablesDesired Skills & Experience:IT Marketing experiencesProduct Owner experiencesQA and testing experiencesRequired Skills: Business Analysis, Business Intelligence.
