Sr Business Analyst With Ariba ExperienceLocation: Round Rock, TXDuration: Long TermRole and Responsibilities:Works with IT PMO to define and analyze solutions to problems relating to hardware and software license transfer activitiesAssist IT PMO to define a process for managing and tracking the transfer of hardware and software licenses to an external entityUse procurement tools and other asset inventory applications to research products purchased from a list of suppliersUse procurement tools and other resources to identify suppliers for a list of applications and/or hardware products procured by DellProvide analysis of historical procurement data utilizing tools such as Excel and AribaIdentify application owners and work with them to obtain consensus on quantities of licenses to transferWorks with IT, Procurement, and other business units to identify current hardware and software license terms in purchase orders and contracts as necessaryTrack progress on license transfer activities and provide statusPrepare presentations on license transfer activities, issues, status, etc. as neededRequirements:Work experience of business analyst of 5-10 yearsBusiness/Management Information Systems degree preferredAbility to problem-solve; considering business process and environmental changesAbility to understand and speak to systems and business processes at a broad levelStrong Excel skills requiredStrong PowerPoint skills preferred1-2 yrs. experience working in Ariba or similar procurement application to search purchase orders and contractsKnowledge of general procurement processes and documents including purchase orders, purchase requisitions, Statements of Work (SOW), and contracts
