Sr. Business AnalystRole: Sr. Business AnalystClient: State of WALocation: Olympia, WA (Onsite)Duration: 12+ MonthsRate: $120/Hr.Responsibilities:Identifying system actors, documenting processes, use cases, and data flows.Conceptualizing and breaking down work into requirements that meet INVEST criteria.Creating, grooming, and supporting a product backlog maintained in Azure Dev Ops.Interviewing stakeholders and users to identify functional requirements.Contributing to software development by supplying requirements, participating in agile ceremonies, and verifying work items that meet acceptance criteria.Updating epics, features, user stories, tasks, and acceptance criteria when required.Collaborating with software engineers to refine requirements and incorporate product management feedback.Participating in testing and verification of code.Participating in agile ceremonies, taking notes about decisions and requirements to translate them into content backlog items.Deliverables:Agile requirements that can be interpreted by a development team.Features and stories that use the INVEST framework and incorporate best practices in requirements gathering and writing.Bidder Qualifications:Must be licensed, or able and willing to obtain a license, to do business in the State of Washington.Five (5) years of business and systems analysis experience, preferably using Azure DevOps.Solid understanding of the systems development lifecycle, particularly agile software delivery methods.Leadership and troubleshooting skills.Technical writing skills.High attention to detail ensuring quality.Knowledge of financial systems.Desired Qualifications:Knowledge of D365.
