Sr. Build Engineer – Solutions Architect / SMEContract: C2H Pay Rate: Open to market valueThe Build Infrastructure & Technologies Team is responsible for improving the build systems and all flagship software products (IOS-XE, XR, NXOS) to ensure that it continues to scale in terms of reliability, performance and ease of use to handle growing software product line. Members of this team are expected to:Architect and improve the build systems to let us scale over multiple productsWork with Technical Leads across multiple Business Units to architect and develop the build systemFollow very strong, highly quality internal Software Development practicesRequired Skills:Demonstrated ability to architecture, develop, and deploy build systems for large scale embedded productsGood exposure to Linux packages and distributions mechanismsUnderstand "GNU Make" experienceDeveloping C and C++Python scripting abilitiesExperience working with Legacy systems and improving to new versionsAble to test for bugsAbility to build binary code software and test embedded systemThe candidate should not only be able to deploy and use build tools but have backend actual build experience.
