Responsibilities include safety inspections of bridges and transportation facilities, as well as the design of bridges, interchanges, tunnels, and related structures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge and transportation structure design and inspection
- NHI Safety Inspection of In‑Service Bridges certification required
- Proficiency in CADD (MicroStation and AutoCAD)
- Willingness to learn additional software through company training
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred
- Familiarity with MDOT, DDOT, and/or VDOT design standards and procedures
- NHI certifications in Fracture Critical and Ancillary Structures
