AWS Data EngineerApex Systems has an a need for an AWS Data Engineer.Project Details – Size, Scale, Scope:Doing data engineering in a distributed computing environmentAll work in this team is going to be AWS cloud-based (not working on on-prem)Working with AWS clusters, cloud formation, elastic storage, redshift, databricks, etc.Top must-have technologies/required experience for the position:Cloud (AWS highly preferred w/ Redshift & Databricks)PythonPySpark OR Apache SparkGeneric SQL (SQL Server and PostGres experience preferred)Preferred qualifications:Redshift (if they don’t have this some experience with other system like Teradata, Hxadata, etc. would be helpful)SnowflakeDatabricksData ModelingActiveBatch (alternatively another workflow mgmt. tool such as Airflow)Long term contract to hire client willing to provide visa sponsorship upon transition to FTE.
