Sr. Automation Tester With SME Level ExpertLocation: 2 Metrotech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201 (3 Days Onsite, 2 days WFH)Note: Only locals from NY metropolitan and NJ area will be considered (Please check commutable distance before applying for the position)About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Lead QA Engineer with deep expertise in performance testing and test automation to drive quality assurance efforts on a high-visibility government compliance initiative. You will own the end-to-end test strategy, lead automation framework development, and ensure applications meet strict regulatory mandates — including LL30 multilingual form availability requirements for limited English proficient (LEP) individuals.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can architect solutions, mentor peers, and influence delivery outcomes.What You'll DoLead the design, development, and execution of automated and performance test scripts for complex form generation and multilingual communications workflowsOwn end-to-end performance testing strategy using LoadRunner and JMeter — including load, stress, spike, and endurance testing — and translate results into actionable recommendations for engineering teamsArchitect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, and other modern automation tooling, ensuring reusability and maintainability across test suitesDrive LL30 compliance testing, validating form availability and accuracy across all 12 required languages for LEP populationsDefine test approaches and standards grounded in design and requirements documentation; establish QA best practices across the teamBuild and manage Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Test Case matrices mapped directly to user stories and business rulesIdentify and escalate system design deficiencies, business rule anomalies, and performance bottlenecks — providing detailed root cause analysis and remediation guidanceServe as the QA liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and engineers — communicating test findings clearly and driving resolutionAnalyze current systems and processes; deliver improvement recommendations informed by client feedback and observed gapsWhat We're Looking ForRequired:9+ years of hands-on QA experience with at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior capacityExpert-level proficiency in performance testing tools: LoadRunner and JMeter — including scripting, scenario design, threshold analysis, and reportingExpert-level proficiency in test automation tools: Selenium, QTP/UFT, Visual Studio, or equivalent — with direct experience building and scaling automation frameworks from the ground up5+ years creating, executing, and managing automation scripts across functional, regression, and integration test suitesStrong command of SQL Server for data validation, test data management, and back-end verificationProven experience developing RTM documentation and translating user stories into structured, traceable test casesDeep understanding of end-to-end functional testing methodologies in Agile/Scrum environmentsExperience with JIRA for defect tracking, test management, and sprint collaborationStrong written and verbal communication skills — able to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersNice to Have:Experience with government, public sector, or regulatory compliance projectsFamiliarity with multilingual or accessibility mandates (LL30, ADA, Section 508)Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
